My mom deserves wolkys because she is active at 80, golfing and swimming, but always complains she has no pretty but comfortable and supportive sandals.
i have worn Willy sandals for 10 years, am 82 years old and active. With arthritis in my feet, my Willy’s have been wonderful! I have recommended your shoes to many people and would be grateful for a new pair of Willy’s!
Our “NAN” lives in London and owns no car. She will be 90 this year and walks to get her groceries and various things every single day. She wears Wolky shoes, but is in desperate need of a new pair. Writing about me, sorry. Just wanted to share after being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both feet, I cast all my old shoes away and wore ugly orthotic tennis shoes and shoes for a few years. Then while stone vacation, I stumbled into one of your shops. My life chased forever with your beautiful yet comfortable shoes. I now have at least 20 pairs!!

My mother is 80 years old and still lives on her own. She owns 4 pair of Wolky Sandals, all of them are 8-10 years old and bought in Germany. She keeps wearing the old Sandals saying that these Sandals are the very best and that she could walk in these Wolky Sandals all the way back to Germany. I would love for her to have a n ew pair.

My grandmother is an outdoor grandmother. Can’t cook, can’t see, can’t clean. And her house shows it. But she ran a dairy farm for 60 years, repairs tractors, hauled hay, green a huge veggie garden, and taught 22 grandchildren all about nature. And I bought her a pair of wolky desh in aqua. Okay honestly – I’m the mom. I was that single mom, teacher, who rarely sat down for 18 years, but always had those great shoes. My Wolkys wore out years ago, but I’m coming out of retirement to help support the grandchild. Mothering never ends, nor do I want it to. Hardest/best job ever, and Wolkys are the best shoes. My daughter is a wonderful mother. She is raising two teenage daughters on her own after a difficult divorce. One of her daughters has a rare disorder that has required her constant attention. She has become a history teacher in the last three years to help support her family and so she can be at the school with her daughters. My daughter has devoted herself to her children since she became a mother. She is truly a remarkable mom!

My LOVELY daughter-in-law!!!!! Took a year’s course in early childhood development while researching curicula to home school her child BEFORE she was born!!!! Having never gardened or done farm animals , she now raises ALL organic veggies and has 6 chickens for eggs which also supply her family’s needs. She’s done bake sales for India’s poor, Black Lives Matter, Ukraine relief, Palestinian relief, etc. Their car is driven less than 50 miles per annum and 1 month’s waste occupies just a 6″square box. On top of all that she’s the most non-fiction read person I’ve ever known. BTW, she’s a sweetheart who freely bakes for EVERYONE in thier neighborhood, delivering all birthday cakes, Valentine’s cookies, care packages, She creates community through food!

My Mother is the rock of our family. She supports and loves us as no one else can. She is a dynamo in the community and needs supportive Wolkys as she currently has acute osteoarthritis of the hips. This lady is speacial. She makes sure all birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated! Bakes for an occasion at the drop of a hat. Will baby sit when needed and make new baby blankets and bibs! All around great person.
I want to nominate my little sister, who truly embodies strength, kindness, and selflessness. She’s a mom to two little ones, and even while dealing with constant back pain, she never stops moving — whether it’s caring for her kids or supporting children with learning disabilities in the classroom. On top of her busy days, she still makes time three times a week to visit our grandmother in the nursing home, always bringing her a homemade lunch and a bit of sunshine. She gives so much of herself to others, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the comfort and support a pair of Wolky shoes would bring.

I nominate my best friend, Stacey Camire. She is a mother to 3, grandmother to 6. She attends every sporting event for her grandkids and babysits each pair of them weekly, just so that she can stay connected. All the while, she tends to her husband, disabled and failing with Parkinson’s. She rarely treats herself and a pair of Wolky shoes would definitely be a treat. I know because I have been wearing Wolky shoes and boots almost exclusively for over 10 years. I live and walk and work in them and “sing their praise” to everyone who admires them.

She’s a single mother who survived years of domestic violence and works at a factory all day for 10 hours packing. She is becoming physically broken from it.
