Our slogan is “Designed for walking.” At first glance, it might not sound like much. But if you think about it, there’s a powerful message hidden in those words. Wolky doesn’t just make shoes to cover your feet or match your outfit. We design them to support every step – from morning to night. And yes, they look great, too. Now that’s what we call a win-win!
Everything designed in-house
At Wolky, we design and produce everything ourselves – from the upper all the way down to the sole. Sure, it’s not the easiest way (or the cheapest), but it gives us full control over every detail. And that means comfort, quality, and the perfect fit – just the way we like it.
We don’t skimp on craftsmanship
We sometimes say our Wolkys are made in a factory—but honestly, “factory” doesn’t do it justice. “Workshop” is more like it. It takes up to 100 hands to craft a single pair of Wolkys. Could it be done faster? Probably. But not better. And at Wolky, cutting corners just isn’t our style.

What truly sets Wolky apart is our footbed. That’s where it all started, back in the early ’80s. Our founder, Kees Diks, wanted something that offered real support and felt soft around the foot. So he created a footbed made of cork, topped with memory foam and lined with soft suede. The result? Unmatched comfort. Today, every Wolky still features this anatomically shaped footbed – because it’s what makes all the difference underfoot!
